The contemporary and unique glass designs of Gila are created using the traditional manner of fusing in a kiln. Her work is a balance of function and beauty, fitting in the main stream of contemporary design, yet singular in its direction, composition and style.

Gila began her career as a means of relaxation from a busy lifestyle as a mother of three. Quickly became hooked on glasswork and eventually devoted nearly all free time to the medium. Current works are the result of the artists accumulated experience and talents.

Gila's work can be found in fine Judaica stores, temple's gifty shops and galleries around the country.

Some of the stores in the Bay Area are the Contemporary Jewish Museum's Gift Shop in San Francisco, Miriam's well in Foster City, Temple Sholom in Burlingame and Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek
